Martinez Dance Studios is one of the longest running dance studios in New York City teaching dance for over 13 years. We pride ourselves on our experience when it comes to teaching the art of dance. Not your typical "ballroom" studio, we mix technique with culture to create a vibrant atmosphere for learning authentic Latin dancing. Martinez Studios bridges the gap between all dance styles. Our classes include: Club–style Salsa, American Ballroom, Latin Ballroom, Argentine Tango, Flamenco, Belly Dancing, Hip–Hop, House, Children´s classes. In this studio the lines of dance are dissolved and people learn for the pure spirit, love and passion of dancing. We offer privates and groups which create a solid foundation for the 1st time student as well as a challenge for the more advanced dancer.
Owner and director Israel Martinez, a long time veteran in the entertainment industry, has created a unique form of Salsa by perfecting a blend of Latin, Hip-Hop, Jazz and House. The experienced teaching staff come from a variety of dance backgrounds which enables us to cater to students from beginners to professionals. If your friend buys a program (private classes) on their first visit you'll receive a free group and a free private lesson. More friends, more free classes. Friend must be new to the studio and accompanied by you to receive free class. One free guest per student per each "Bring a Friend" week. 1 free class per guest.
